Christmas and Christmas eve update.

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas, ours was really nice. During the day on Christmas Eve, we got a few things done around the house and got my moms car unburied from all the snow. She hadn't touched it since it started snowing a week and a half ago. So Blue plowed out the alley way, including the 3 1/2' berm at the end of the alley. Then we hooked the car up to the 4 wheeler and after a few initial mishaps we got it pulled out and took it around to the front of the garage and put the chains on it.

For Christmas eve we went to the early service at my church, it was very snowy out so all 5 of us rode in the truck (my mom, uncle, Blue, Bug and I), it was pretty hairy but we got there OK. Then we came home and cooked up the pizza and after dinner we opened our stockings. Bug got a bunch of books a new Wii game and a Leapster game and some movies, Blue got some movies, his annual new wallet, some little gadgets for skiing and a new Wii game and I got 2 new CD's, 2 new Wii games and some gift cards for Starbucks and Borders. After stockings we played on the Wii a bit and headed to bed.

Blue had to work Christmas day and had already headed out before Bug and I got up around 8:00. We then hung out for a bit then woke up Uncle and mom and started brunch, we finished up around 11 and Bug went to play and I watched part of a show and then we got ready and headed over to our friends Bryan and Brenda's house for a bit. We hung out there for a couple of hours and Blue was able to stop in on one of his layovers. It was nice just to hang out and let the kids run around, Their Bug got a cool game called Hullabaloo, which is kind of a modern version of Twister but for little kids, it had to be quite a site to watch when Brenda and I started playing it with the boys, it was a ton of fun.

We headed back home just after 3 and got home in time to finish up the pot roast, Blue came home and we all ate dinner and then sat down and open presents. I got a new digital picture frame and Blue got part 1 & 2 of season 6 of the Sopranos and Bug got too much stuff to mention. Also my sister got us the Aerosmith version of Rock star which Blue ended up playing until way to late. It was a great day overall and I was so impressed with Bug, he never once asked to open gifts and didn't even complain about having to wait until after 5:00 at night to open gifts. Got to love that little boy.
