Life as I know it.

We got an email from Big Fish, (the agency that Bug is listed with) yesterday, telling us of an audition for him today. So today after Lunch bunch we headed to the audition along with a few dozen other kids and waited for his turn. When he got called in he introduced himself to the director and handed him his head shot and resume. The director then told him where to stand and asked him a few questions, including who is your favorite superhero. Bug told him about one that he had made up (big surprise). The man then asked Bug to show him how a superhero flies and Bug looked down to make sure he stayed on the X that the man said to stay on (always the good rule follower, my boy is) and flew a round a bit. The director then asked him to smile and Big gave one of his worst smiles and I thought Oh, no. Then the director told him to wave at the camera and he waved and gave the best smile. That was it and away we went. Wish him luck, we will find out hopefully by next week.

As I mentioned recently I have been obsessed with the Twilight series of books. I have now seen the movie 4 times and read all 4 books plus the manuscript twice. Well we decided to head over to Seattle (Bug and I) for our 1st trip of the year and spend some time out at the ocean. When I was looking at availabilities for our time share I noticed one up in Port Townsend area and decided to stay there and then head down to Forks for the day. My friend Tonia and her girls are also obsessed with the books so they came with us. So on Tue we drove down to Forks, there is Twilight everything there. And a ton of other silly people (like me) driving around taking pictures of all the local sights. Since the movie wasn't filmed there, this pretty much amounts to the "Welcome to Forks" sign and the sign for the high school. They had a couple really neat shops with all sorts of Twilight memorabilia. After checking out Forks, we headed down to the La Push beach on the Quileute Indian Re
