Getting ready, getting excited.

Bug's rehearsal schedule is picking up he has had 3 this week. He has his roll down pat, not that there was much to remember. He is in Act 1 scene 2 the scene where Annie 1st finds Sandy and then he will be in Act 2 scene 6, the final #. He still is having a blast with it all and just loves sitting in the audience watching the other kids do their thing, or running around with the other" street boys". We head out of town tomorrow and he will miss one rehearsal next week, but hopefully we will be having so much fun he won't notice. Today I went and did seated massage at a scrap booking get together that one of my friends from MOMS club is involved in. It started slow but I ended up fairly busy by the end and did just over 200.00 so that wasn't too bad. I also sold a gift certificate and possibly got a new client out of it. Overall a very successful day. Also if was held at the local country club and because of a few no shows we were able to have lunch for free which

Disappointing news today.

My mom who has been living with us for almost 3 years now, has had a really hard time finding a job around here. She finally got hired on with Premera and we thought "yeah, finally a decent job for her, good pay, good benefits." Unfortunately we found out today that she is being let go, so she is headed off to live in the Seattle area, (where my sis lives). I have mixed emotions about this. 1st of all this really sucks, Bug will be so disappointed not to have grandma around to play with. She has always helped us out with babysitting and even helps with his homeschooling. On the other hand she has been depressed and down for along time, has been un happy with living over here for quite awhile and put additional stress on my life. So, although I will be extremely sad to see her go, I do think this will be for the best. I am not in the same place I was when we had her move over here. We had no real friends and nobody around to help us out. Now at least I have friends and a few

Survey: My 1st (last & only) baby.

My friend Brenda had this one on her blog, so here I go..... Here you go mommies - a different kind of survey for a change - it's all about you and your first baby. 1. Were you married at the time? Yes, for 1 year 2. What were your reactions? I can't say I was shocked but I was definitely happy. 3. How old were you? I was 27. 4. How did you find out you were pregnant? We had planned to get pregnant because out best friends had just gotten pregnant, so I went off the pill in Nov. I took a couple of tests in Dec but they came back negative. Since I had just started school we began to think maybe we should wait, so I talked to my Dr. about taking something to get my period started again so I could go back on the pill. I had been feeling sick with the flu (and kind of nauseous). So we figured I better take another test just to be sure. I sent my hubby in to check the results and he came back and said "nope". So I thought oh well, then for some reason I we

Payback

Last night I went to moms night out at Polka Dot pottery. They have great Margarita nights there for moms. They have chips w/ 7 layer dip, veggies and dip and of course Margaritas. They are usually packed and they have lively music going and lots of talking and bustling about. This is the 3rd one I have been to and I always have fun. Well after going last week with bug I figured i should return the favor and make something for him. I decided on a bank and since he has a rocket ship theme with stars in his room I decided to make him a cute little moon bank. He even picked out the paint for it when he was here earlier this week. I also was able to pick up the vase he made me it turned out even cuter than I thought it would. Very fun night overall, its so nice to just get away for a night with the girls and just hang out. I will post a pic, when I get it back.
