Basketball and more skiing.

Bug had his 2nd basketball game on Sat, he is continuing to do well. He is afraid of the ball, and the other kids know this so unfortunately they don't pass it to him. But he is enjoying being out there and he does a good job of defending his man and he loves to cheer on his team when he is on the side lines.

Mon we went skiing with my friend Lisa and her 3 boys who are 7, 5 and 3 and just learning to ski. We went to 49N and showed them around our favorite mountain. We spent most of the morning on the bunny slope and then at lunch she took the 3 yo to daycare. Then we headed to the top of the mountain and skied the green run down. Bug and the 7 yo did fine but the 5 yo really struggled.

So after that we separated and she took the 5 yo back to the bunny hill and I took the big boys up to our favorite blue run. I let the boys ride up together since they had been fine on the lift all day. Well they got so into talking that they forgot to get off at the end and honestly it took them a good minute before they had even realized it. The operator ended up bringing them around to the other side and we lifted them down off the lift, too funny.

At the top the 7yo looked down the hill and said "is this a green run?" And I said "nope it's a blue run and your gonna ski it." So he looks down the hill again and looks at me and says "OK" and away we went. The boys both did great and we went a couple more times, then did the 1/2 pipe and headed into the lodge. Bug had such a great time skiing with his buddies and it was nice for me to have some adult company to visit with too.

We headed back into town just in time to get to basketball practice, we were about 5 minutes late, but the day had been well worth it.
