Welcome to my blog! I'm not sure why I was inspired today to start this (probably because I am trying to avoid cleaning) but I thought I would give it a try.

It is quiet around here, Blue and Cole are gone for the day off to spend some time with their buds. Mom left for work a little bit ago, so I have just been browsing the internet and visited a friend's blog and got inspired to start my own. (Thanks Brenda).

Life has been feeling a bit crazy lately, I feel like I am always 2 steps behind and the more I think about what I need to do the more anxious I get, so I am playing hide and seek from my chores today and just relaxing on the computer.

I will be making a bold leap in the next few weeks. After a lot of frustration at my work, I was presented with an opportunity to go out on my own. So starting June 1st I will be renting space in my cousin's salon and trying to build up my own massage business. I will continue to work where I do for now, but with the hope that I can either cut back or go out on my own completely in the next 6 months. Wish me luck and say lots of prayers for me. I am sure I will need them.

I suppose I better get off here and try and get at least a little bit of cleaning done around here. Talk to you soon.

A day at the fair.

We had a busy day today! 1st we tried to get a little schoolwork done, then Bug and I headed to our church for "Breakaway". This is a time for all the moms to get together once a month. We get to spend some time in prayer, some time talking and getting to know one another a little better and of course spend sometime eating, because when can a big group of women get together and there not be food involved. It was a lot of fun and they have changed the format somewhat this year, so it should be interesting. After Breakaway we headed to the fair and met Blue. Bug had such a blast riding the rides. He is of course now more that big enough for all of the kiddie rides, he even branched out and rode on some of the bigger rides in the afternoon. He was a little nervous at 1st so I told him to ask this girl if he could sit be her. Of course she said yea and you can see him chatting her up in the 1st pic. (If he stays as outgoing as he is now his teen years should be a breeze. ha ha

No Bug for the week

This week Bug is going to a VBS at a local church, it runs from 9-3. Which is very nice in a way but also very strange. I took him in this morning and hung out with him for a few minutes while he got adjusted, then I went to the grocery store. Which was all fine but when I had to pass back by the church to head home it felt weird not having him, then all day at home I went back and forth between enjoying my time getting things done around the house and checking to see if it was time to pick him up yet. I got there to pick him up about 15 min early and waited around anxiously, when he finally came out he looked so tired, he seemed to have a good time but he did say "they sang for HOOUURRRS" and did not get to go out and play on the playground, but he is looking forward to going back tomorrow. This will be a strange week without him home all day. But it will be good practice for him because he will be going to a campfire day camp in a couple of weeks where he will be picked up

I saw this game on another blog when I was looking around the other day. It's called 3 truths and a lie. I will tell you 4 statements 3 of them will be true and one is a lie, see if you can figure out which one is the lie. 1. The longest I have lived any one place is 4 years. 2. I once traveled to Mexico w/ 10 people and everyone got sick but me. 3. I have been to Disneyland 2 times. 4. I started dating my husband while chasing another guy. So give it your best guess and let me know which one you think is the lie. Life is good around here, God blessed me with quite a few garage sale finds this weekend. The MNO I hosted on Fri went well, there ended up being 7 of us there. We just hung out in the motel room, we had really wierd weather around here on Friday and they closed the pool at the hotel. We never even got a chance to play games or hang out at the hut tub. You know how it can be get a group of woman together and we just can't stop talking. I'm very excited, this week
