I saw this game on another blog when I was looking around the other day. It's called 3 truths and a lie. I will tell you 4 statements 3 of them will be true and one is a lie, see if you can figure out which one is the lie.

1. The longest I have lived any one place is 4 years.
2. I once traveled to Mexico w/ 10 people and everyone got sick but me.
3. I have been to Disneyland 2 times.
4. I started dating my husband while chasing another guy.

Life is good around here, God blessed me with quite a few garage sale finds this weekend. The MNO I hosted on Fri went well, there ended up being 7 of us there. We just hung out in the motel room, we had really wierd weather around here on Friday and they closed the pool at the hotel. We never even got a chance to play games or hang out at the hut tub. You know how it can be get a group of woman together and we just can't stop talking.

I'm very excited, this week is Bunco friday, YEA! I love Bunco and this one happens to be on my b-day, double YEA! I will be bringing the German Chocolate cake, beacause it's just not a birthday to me without german chocolate cake. Let's see who wants to place bets on whether my husband will do anything for me for my birthday, my bet is on him doing nothing. Don't get me wrong I love my hubby but he just does not get the whole holiday/birthday thing. If I'm lucky he will take me out for dinner sometime this week. But I always keep my fingers crossed that this will be the year he does something great. It has been known to happen, for my 30th b-day (oops I meant 21st, haha) he got me a day of beauty at a local spa. So you never know. I'll keep you all posted.

my guess is number 3. I don't think you have been to Disneyland 2 times. But it could be number 1 instead.

A day at the fair.

We had a busy day today! 1st we tried to get a little schoolwork done, then Bug and I headed to our church for "Breakaway". This is a time for all the moms to get together once a month. We get to spend some time in prayer, some time talking and getting to know one another a little better and of course spend sometime eating, because when can a big group of women get together and there not be food involved. It was a lot of fun and they have changed the format somewhat this year, so it should be interesting. After Breakaway we headed to the fair and met Blue. Bug had such a blast riding the rides. He is of course now more that big enough for all of the kiddie rides, he even branched out and rode on some of the bigger rides in the afternoon. He was a little nervous at 1st so I told him to ask this girl if he could sit be her. Of course she said yea and you can see him chatting her up in the 1st pic. (If he stays as outgoing as he is now his teen years should be a breeze. ha ha

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good gift frenzy.

Merry Christmas or at least merry Christmas eve. Bug is sleeping in this morning so I figured I would catch up on my blogging. Everything is basically ready around here. I do need to go pick up a few food items but other than that everything is done. Of course just as a I write that i think of 5 other things I need to do: wrap a couple more presents, stuff some stockings, get a goody tray ready for Blue's work, etc.... We will be having Christmas at our house tomorrow, the only downer is that Blue has to work today and tomorrow. You gotta love the transit system around here, (he is a bus driver, if I haven't mentioned that before). So today we will run around and finish things up, then go to our Christmas Eve Church Service at 5. Then when Blue gets home we will cook up some pizza and after dinner we will open our stockings. In the morning we will just be hanging out until he gets home around 1 then we will have a nice lunch/brunch and then the gift frenzy will begin. Actually

No Bug for the week

This week Bug is going to a VBS at a local church, it runs from 9-3. Which is very nice in a way but also very strange. I took him in this morning and hung out with him for a few minutes while he got adjusted, then I went to the grocery store. Which was all fine but when I had to pass back by the church to head home it felt weird not having him, then all day at home I went back and forth between enjoying my time getting things done around the house and checking to see if it was time to pick him up yet. I got there to pick him up about 15 min early and waited around anxiously, when he finally came out he looked so tired, he seemed to have a good time but he did say "they sang for HOOUURRRS" and did not get to go out and play on the playground, but he is looking forward to going back tomorrow. This will be a strange week without him home all day. But it will be good practice for him because he will be going to a campfire day camp in a couple of weeks where he will be picked up
